近日隨著新冠肺炎(COVID-19)的升溫,各家新聞媒體網路充斥著病例情形、政府的政策與宣導等資訊等,大量訊息讓我們能掌握最新資訊,但同時也容易讓我們資訊負荷量超載,可能會感到害怕(面對威脅會有的情緒反應)與焦慮(各種假設未來的情緒),這些都是很正常的自我保護反應。請隨時留意自己是否有下列三種情形!

With the recent surge of  COVID-19 confirmed cases, the media, social media and online forums have been full of many confirmed cases, news, government policies and different kinds of announcements. The large amount of information assists us in knowing the latest updates, however, in the meantime it may cause information overload. Hence, we may feel the emotion of fear in response to the threat and anxiety from assumptions of the future. These emotions are normal self-protective responses. Please pay attention if you have experience any of the following situations:

世界衛生組織(WHO)定義健康是廣括身體、心理和社會的安適感,因此安穩身心需要同時照顧到身體與心理的健康,以及健康舒適的社會環境,你可以先嘗試透過以下這些方法補充身心能量,並透過人際連結來增加社會安適感:

What can you do if you find yourself in any of the situations mentioned above?

WHO defines Health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being.” Hence, we need to take care of both our physical and mental health and stay in a healthy and comfortable social environment at the same time. You can try to improve both your physical and mental energy through the following methods and increase your social well-being through technology.

防疫期間,人們須保持一定的社交距離,可能讓人感到孤寂或孤獨感。在自我照顧之餘,適當地善用科技社交媒介,增進人際間的社會聯結,穿越物理環境的阻隔,讓心的距離拉近,將能滿足人際歸屬與情感的需求。

During the epidemic prevention period, people need to keep social distance,  which may make them feel lonely or isolated. Therefore, we must not only take special care of ourselves, but we can also use social media and communication technology to enhance our social bonds, cross the practical barrier, and bring hearts closer to fulfill our innate needs for interpersonal affiliation and emotional well-being..
